Doris Flint

Doris Flint is a retired teacher and a Trustee for the Delta Gamma Foundation, a philanthropic organization which focuses on volunteerism and donations for the blind and visually impaired. In the past she has functioned as Chairman of the Board for the Delta Gamma Foundation, and President of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She has also been involved in the Sacramento Junior League and the Sacramento Cerebral Palsy Guild.
Ms. Flint has maintained involvement with the Society for the Blind board for many years. When her mother contracted Macular Degeneration as an older woman, she found help through low vision aids from the Low Vision Clinic and references for one-on-one instruction within her community in Southern California, with help from Society staff.
