Our CareersPLUS YOUTH seminar will facilitate a frank discussion on careers, the search for the perfect first job and more.
Discussion on summer, seasonal, after school and jobs during college will be thoroughly explored. Tips and techniques will be covered on ways to research jobs, prepare for the interview and land that first-ever paycheck. A fun and informative afternoon activity in the community visiting job sites where young adults typically work will round out the day. Money for lunch in the community is requested.
We will meet at the Society at 10:00 AM and end our day at the Arden Fair Mall, 1689 Arden Way, just outside Starbucks. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a white cane and/or any other low vision aides to comfortably and confidently navigate inside and outside.
