Society for the Blind in the Community

Raising awareness of low vision and easing the challenges it may have on our lives, is part of our commitment to serve our community. We are active in not only educating our patients and students, but educating and advocating within our community.

Each year we provide hundreds of informative and educational presentations to various organizations, groups and communities.

Please contact us to invite a member of the Society for the Blind team to speak to your company, civic organization or support group or call (916) 452-8271.

The more our community knows about the resources available through Society for the Blind, the better for the patients and clients we serve. Many individuals who could benefit from our programs and services simply do not know we are here for them. You can help us change that by scheduling a tour of our teaching center for your company, civic organization, or group to learn more and help spread the word!

Please contact us to schedule your tour today or call (916) 452-8271.
