CareersPLUS presents: 2020 Ambitions Winter Seminar

Wondering how in the world you will ever enter the work force? Perhaps you have a lot of ideas on what you would like to do, but you don’t know quite how to create a plan for getting there? Introducing our first ever CareersPLUS Ambitions seminar series. These are a group of seminars where you will start by learning which of your interests and hobbies are related to tangible job skills. After this, you will discover, define, and track down your starter job.  We will follow this by teaching you how to turn your first job into an opportunity to move toward your long-term goal. We will end the series by visiting real sites that you select and performing informal interviews with actual employers you might want to work with.

Our January 7 Ambitions seminar will be held at Starbucks at 1200 R Street, a short block away from Society for the Blind. The first cup of coffee is on us.

For events beginning after 5 PM, please ring the doorbell, just right of the front door.
