Blind and low vision high school and college age students and their families are invited to Society for the Blind to learn about everything you ever wanted to know about the Department of Rehabilitation and how it can help with immediate planning for the future. Department of Rehabilitation staff will be present to present on vocational rehabilitation services including how to prepare for employment, gain invaluable skills to succeed in everyday life and talk about assistance for college.
The Department of Rehabilitation is recommitting its efforts and resources to serving blind and low vision youth to assist in achieving ultimate success. Information on CareersPLUS will also be available during this time. RSVPs are not required but you are encouraged to let us know if you plan to attend.
