Date(s) - June 11, 2020

CareersPLUS rings in June with an opportunity for our teens to learn and network on Zoom and socialize together. Zoom is a free app that you can download on your phone, tablet, and or dial in through your home phone. Zoom allows you to video chat with us and others invited to our seminar to call in.
Using this platform, we will socialize and have conversations on various aspects of life. During The first call of Every month, we will catch up and talk about how we are conquering personal, school and career goals. topics might include but are not limited to, expectations, staying active, challenging our curiosity, physical and emotional wellness, and of course, the fun and not so fun of doing all this from the comfort of our homes. Our first call of each month is purposely scheduled with ample time set aside to emphasize Community, time to share and learn from blind or low vision peers in Sacramento and throughout California.
We are strongly committed to inclusion. Society staff is here to assist youth and family members to learn and log onto the Zoom platform in their preferred phone, tablet or through a desktop computer. Please contact Richard Rueda at [email protected] for individual workshop details. CareersPLUS Zoom seminars are geared for teens ages 13 and up.
