Are you a blind parent, a blind grandparent, or have kids in your life who you are supporting? Join our round table discussion for blind parents and blind grandparents, where we share strategies to raise confident kids, become positive role models, and create safe, fun environments for learning and play. Connect with others to learn practical skills for playing games, monitoring children effectively, helping with homework, and teaching independence, all while supporting one another with understanding and encouragement. Come and hear from the lived experiences of our panel of blind grandparents and blind parents. We will enjoy “kid friendly” snacks and a demonstration of hands-on activities that you can incorporate into your life with your kids.
